The machinations of extremist factions reflect a human tendency to indulge fear as if that fear will protect them/us. Rather, it leads only to more extremism, fundamentalism. So many terrible deeds are done because of the human propensity to fear. But love and fear both are inseparable facets of our being here on this planet. We must/may choose in each moment: Love or Terror...Which do we want to create, open hearts/receptivity or aggresssion? We each must BE what it is we would like to see in another, in the world. Amazing how much energy it takes to keep one's balance on this planet. And I am sure the work of this begins with me.
